Witney’s culinary darling, No.14 Wesley Walk, turns one

Witney’s No.14 Wesley Walk hits its first birthday this week, and the past year has been nothing short of a triumph. From the moment it opened, the restaurant has become a daily go-to for locals craving upscale bistro-style dining, a testament to both the team’s skill and Witney’s growing appetite for quality food experiences. Even in the midst of a cost of living crisis, No.14 has thrived. Tables are consistently full, the atmosphere buzzes with conversation, and the restaurant has quickly earned a loyal following. It’s clear that the Market Town is embracing more than just good food, it’s embracing a place where dining feels special, approachable, and consistently excellent.

A big part of that success comes from Head Chef Aaron Godfray, who joined from the 3 Rosette Swan in Islip. Bringing a wealth of experience across fine dining and brunch culture, Aaron has been instrumental in keeping No.14’s menu both familiar and exciting, balancing the classics the restaurant has become known for with clever, modern twists that keep diners coming back for more.

Owner Ryan Humphrey is proud of how the restaurant has embedded itself into Witney’s food scene. “We’ve been overwhelmed by local support and are proud to be building our own No.14 community,” he says.

Whether you’re a local or passing through, No.14 Wesley Walk offers a slice of the Cotswolds, combining warmth, quality, and a touch of flair. Its first birthday is the perfect excuse to see why this Market Town gem has captured hearts—and appetites—so quickly, and why its second year looks set to be even more exciting.
